I purchased this ring to wear as an everyday piece after realizing my previous ring (similar to this only smaller in scale) was too small for my chubby fingers. I admittedly didn't pay much attention to the crystal dimension, so I was surprised by the size of the gemstone. It's really so pretty and could pass as an engagement ring if you wanted it to. I think this scale is so great in combo to the split band to work for folks like shorter and chubbier hands/fingers like myself.
