I came across this and it was eerily similar to a ring my step dad made for me for my 18th birthday. His MS eventually made it too challenging to keep making jewelry so he closed up shop so when my ring would up lost, I was heartbroken he'd never be able to make another to replace it. While nothing will replace the sentimental value of the ring he made, this one still has sentimental value as a reminder of what he crafted for my 18th birthday.
